It is designed for use with C7 or C9 Christmas light strings that you need to install on a shingled roof. Great for home and commercial Christmas lights installation. Just pre-insert your bulbs into the tabs while you are on the ground then install them at your roof's edge quickly and cleanly.
If you want to install your lights on a flat roof use a parapet clip (sold separately) in conjunction with a shingle tab.
